Mites and Parasites Eliminated

with non-chemical methods and cautiously selected pesticides

Rats, mice and birds live in very close proximity to human populations. In Southern California, we have invaded their territories, the fields, canyons and mountains. Most of these animals carry mites, flies and fleas that can be transferred to humans or pets.

Nesting birds commonly carry large numbers of bird mites. Thousands of mites infest the nesting site, which can be an attic, eave or an other area in close proximity to humans. When rats and mice nest in attics, they also carry mites and fleas with them.

Mice and rats feel warm and comfortable, while doing tremendous harm to the air quality (Escondido,CA)
Rat droppings contribute to bad indoor air quality & related health problems.

Dead or alive, rodents and birds carry many diseases transmitted by their parasites to human inhabitants. Dried dander, fecal matter and urine are additional sources of allergens and diseases. These elements become airborne and are thereby physically transferred to humans. This can happen by accidental or inadvertent contact with these elements or by fleas, flies, mites and other insects that transport contaminants to humans. Ailments produced can be either acute or chronic. There may be a sensitizing event or it may result from continued exposure.

Here is a modified list of some well known ailments and diseases transferred from rats, mice and/or birds largely by their organic matter, mites and parasites:

Rat hole chewed through duct.
Rats used this duct to gain access to the entire home, compromising the air quality further and reducing the home heating/cooling system capabilities.

Other common symptoms include fevers, headache, flu and gastric upset.

The scope of entomological and medical knowledge needed to fully comprehend these ailments is far beyond this limited space.

Rat infestation clean-up required vacuuming and replacing insulation (Ramona,CA)
Hearts technicians thoroughly clean infested areas to remove materials harmful to your health.

Yet, common sense tells us that we must do our best to eliminate the source of these disorders. Insecticides and miticides alone will not solve these problems without addressing the infestations of rodents and birds that directly or indirectly pass on these diseases to humans.
